A Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner focusing on Functional Medicine care, Chelsey is originally from Belleville, Illinois. Her interest in alternative medicine blossomed when she decided to get to the root cause of her own health struggles. Where conventional medicine failed her, Functional Medicine filled the gaps and ultimately led her down a path of healing. This sparked a new passion for Chelsey as a Functional Medicine provider, which took her talents to Chicago, Illinois where she treated patients for Type II Diabetes, Thyroid Disorders, Hormonal Issues, Mold Toxicity, and more.
Chelsey joined Functional Health Center to become it’s Clinic Director and guide patients on the path to healing. “I want to let patients know that I’ve been where they are right now, and although their conventional Doctor ignores their symptoms, I’ll hear them out and get to the bottom of them.”
When she is not in clinic putting the puzzle pieces together for your health, she can usually be found walking her dog, Teddy, playing tennis, or cooking a healthy meal at home.
