Functional Medicine Provider – Fort Mill, SC
Casey spent years in emergency and critical care nursing before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner at Functional Health Centers of the Carolinas. Her time in the ER and ICU showed her the limits of a system built around managing symptoms rather than uncovering what actually caused them. That frustration became her fuel for change.
Her commitment to functional medicine became personal when she faced her own autoimmune disease. That experience shifted everything, revealing what patients truly need: enough time to be heard, testing that goes deeper, and treatment plans tailored to their specific situation rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. It’s when healing actually becomes possible.
Casey holds her undergraduate degree from Marymount University and her Master of Science in Nursing from University of South Carolina. She’s driven by helping patients reclaim their energy, balance their hormones, restore gut health, optimize their metabolism, and ultimately feel like themselves again through evidence-based, personalized care.
When she’s not at the clinic, Casey is with her husband, their two-year-old son, and their German Shepherd Penny. They’re lake people at heart, always looking for ways to stay active and live out the wellness principles they believe in.
